How to print duplicates of one label?

Bosve, Well, that means that the query is not working. You added the Criteria I suggested for the ArtikelNR, right? The form is open to the correct record? And that query is set up as the Record Source of the lables report? How are you going about producing the labels at this stage? Click...

How to print duplicates of one label?

Bosve, Ok, well I am really just trying an intelligent guess here. But am I correct that the field ArtikelNR would identify the record that you want printed to the labels? If so, then we try it like this... in the design of the query, in the Criteria of the ArtikelNR column, enter like this...

How to print duplicates of one label?

Bosve, Thanks for the further explanation. You need to have some way of designating which label you want printed. Are you able to get the SQL view of the query that the report is now based on, and copy/paste that SQL into your reply here? THat will probably help us to understand your data...

Delete record and relationship records using kill

Aha, thanks Bob. I missed that.

Delete record and relationship records using kill

P.S. ... The Kill method is normally used to delete files, not database records. I don't think it is applicable in this case.

    Find oldest of duplicate records

I have re-read this thread. Unless Skwilliams pops back in to clarify, I think we are stuck. I initially read, and still do read, the original question to be asking for the earliest date for each combination of Order and Activity. If this is the case, then Jzwp's initial response was the...

Delete record and relationship records using kill

Oxicottin, DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdDeleteRecord If you have a Relationship established, between the table the main form is based on and the table the subform is based on, with Cascade Delete enabled, then you need do nothing more... the related subform records will automatically be trashed.

    Issue withe Relationships and form

Will, Ok, thanks for the explanation. Can I ask please for your further comments. Would you ever do a Job for any Customer at more than one Location? And do your individual pieces of hardware get deployed to more than one Job - or are these permanent onstallations? Sorry - not knowing...

How to print duplicates of one label?

Bosve, I assumed you wanted multiple copies of the same label. I thought that's what we are talking about. Can you let us know whether all the lables are supposed to be individual, or if you want multiple copies of each different label, or if you want multiple copies of just a single label?

    Find oldest of duplicate records

    No it won't!

    Find oldest of duplicate records

vbaInet, No, it wouldn't. The Totals Query using Min will do the trick just fine. :)

How to print duplicates of one label?

Bosve, One "rough & ready" way to do this is to make a table, just one field, Number data type, and enter a sequential set of numbers into this field, up to what you expect will be the maximum number of labels you will ever want in any print run. Then, add this table to the query that your...

    Issue withe Relationships and form

Will, Only if the Chillers can be in more than one Location. Is that the case? There are some problems with your table structure. A Job can only be in one Location. And the Customer is defined according to the Location - is that right? But can't there be more than one Job for any given...

    Access 2007 Queries

Monte, You will certainly be able to achieve your purpose by using Access. However, at this stage there is a small problem with your table design. This is not a good way to handle inventory. Inventory is basically a calculated quantity, and in versions of Access prior to Access 2010 should...

    Find oldest of duplicate records

Lagbolt, ... for each Order + Activity. That's my reading of the question anyway.

    Find oldest of duplicate records

Skwilliams, Yes, a Totals Query as suggested by Jzwp will do it for you. Note that "Order" is a Reserved Word (i.e. has a special meaning) in Access, and as such is a good idea to avoid using it for the name of a field or control.
