yes... vba will be the way to go mate... and beware if you find advanced controls for runtime... if you try to set up a user on < 2000 windows platform, the more advanced the components, higher probability it won't work. Just a note... for yourself. But test and try and enjoy.

well... First off... In your forms recordsource... Just invoke a query. and order it any way you wish.... Secondly... about the adding records on top.... Dun think there's a way on a bound form... I will keep an eye on this message to see it there is though.

Goto form properties... Scroll down to picture. Embed your picture. Strecth it.. mess with it... change it.... You could probably scroll the background picture using timer if you really wanted to using timer event... If you have time and are bored... :p

do you use dao hard coding...? if so I recommend you code adding new records yourself. I have encountered problems historically with access because for some dumb reason it loses track of the autonumber index and rewinds in time... so... I would .... set recordset on table to add record...
