There ought to be a law - hey! There is!

I'm just poking fun. I like Monty Python and was a huge fan of "Whose Line is it, Anyway?" I have even enjoyed an episode of "Are You Being Served?" and "The Vicar of Dibly" now and again, although they're not shows I'd care to watch regularly. "Mile High" is also a deliciously saucy show...

The fact that she was pregnant with his child is irrefutable proof of statutory ra**. This whole situation is one of the most absurd things I've ever heard.

Well they got legally married, didn't they? Seems to me that if the state felt the woman deserved to be in jail, perhaps they shouldn't have put their stamp of approval on the relationship.

Pet peeves or things that get your panties in a knot

So the fact that I did not specificy which option my statement fell under is evidence that it falls under the latter option? O....K....

Why not just assign the death penalty to every repeat offense and be done with it? That'll take care of the crime rate!

OK so... 37yo woman has sex with 15yo boy, gets pregnant. She then legally marries him based on the pregnancy. Then she gets charged with statutory ra** of....her husband? WTF? Seems to me this is a mutually exclusive situation...
