Converting ArtistNames to a sortable format

If I understand it correctly. 1 artist can have many albums, 1 album has many songs, 1 album can have many artists, 1 song can have many albums etc... I would consider having three tables and two join tables. 1 artisttable ArtistID Artistname info info . etc 2. Albumtable AlbumID info . etc...

Perhaps this will work. Dim dtfirstdate as date, dtseconddate as date dtfirstdate = me.yourfirstdatefield dtseconddate = me.yourseconddatefield If dtseconddate < dtfirstdate then msgbox ("your date is not valid") me.yourseconddatefield.setfocus end if Fuga.

Putting choices from a list box into a table

I´m not sure, but try some thing like this. Use the addwords() sub as an after update or maybe lost focus event of your listboxes. sub addwords() Dim sWord1 as string, sWord2 as string....etc....sWord7 as string sWord1 = me.yourtextfield1 sWord2 = me.yourtextfield2 . . etc Me.yourtextbox =...

Putting choices from a list box into a table

Not exactly. sWord1 is a variable that gets its value from textfield1 in the sWord = me.textfield1 line. The textfield1 should be a reference to your listbox1. Don´t know why I called it textbox1. Sorry if it was confusing. Then it repeats with sWord2, sWord3 etc. Fuga.

    Code fires properly once only

Don´t know if this is relevant, but I once did an export to excel of a query with a field (selected with listbox) as a criteria. I noticed it only worked occassionally like it was supposed to. In my case, I had forgotten to put me.refresh for the form, not updating the criteria field and thus...

Actually, this might be a bit more tricky. I tried once to find the top value every day for some 500 days with 20 or so entries/day. multiple fields, find unused data?

Don´t know if it´s better, but you could have made a link table with fields user and catalog and then search for the catalog that has no entries in this table (missmatch query). Or maybe that´s what you were saying yourself? (a bit tired right now... ) Fuga.
