Being a tidy type of person I like to clean out every now & then. I have a delete query & wish to know a little more about it before I hit the OK button & put the broom through. I have created the query to delete the many side of a one to many, using parameters date and event, will this...
Private Sub cmdFrom_Click()
DoCmd.OpenForm "frmCalendar", , , , , acDialog, Me.name & ";From"
End Sub
The other details are in my original post above. "from" is a date field.
Thanks vm for your help.
I seem to be bogged down on this one. I have the calendar button on the subform and when I click on the button I get a message telling me that System can't find the sub form, then the calendar open up ok but will not work. I've tried to reference the sub form but obviously not successfully...

I might have been a bit hasty in my first post and a thus misleading. I'm having the problem with the calendar button referencing the date field on the form.
I have been using the following;
WHERE (((Lot.Date) Between [Forms]![purchase petroleum by date]![txtFrom] And [Forms]![purchase petroleum by date]![txtTo]) AND ((Lot.Event)="purchase - fuel")) OR (((Lot.Event)="purchase - oil"));
It will work if I leave the OR out but not with it. Any ideas?
I have asked this B4 but with no luck so I'll try my luck again.
I'm trying to use a calendar to select dates on a sub form and not getting anywhere. The calendar will work ok if I open the sub form on it's own but when I open the main form, which obviously has the sub form on it, the calendar...
Pat
What can I say? Well done, your last one works too. Even though I am using R6Flyer's suggestion I will tuck yours away for future reference. Thank you very much. :)
I've tried Pat's & o1110010's suggestions and neither works as desired. Pat's removes everything & o1110010's allows too much. I guess I could leave the blank/zero's there because they don't really do any harm but it would be a lot neater without them.
Does the date criteria over ride the other...

Thank you for your suggestion, however, I still get the same result when I add Is not Null. I need to only get rid of entries where both Taxheld & taxpaid are zero. What I have so far is shown below.
WHERE ((([Job Record].DateDetails) Between [Forms]![Employee Tax]![txtFrom] And...
I want to merge/link an access 2000 qry to a word 2000 document for printing envelopes. When I click the merge button access gives a message "Automation Error: Classfactory can't supply requested class". Has anyone seen that one before? I am guessing that I need to load something of the office...
I have a query something as follows;
Employee
Date1
TaxHeld
TaxPaid
My problem is that there are other fields used by the date1 which do not need to be in this query and when the query is run I get some blank Taxheld & TaxPaid's because the date1 field will show all dates and the Tax fields...
Thank you for your prompt replies. Since I posted my original question I have searched more and found what I wanted and have it working. The site below has some good hints on it.

I want to use a form to enter criteria on a query then view a report based on the query. At the moment I do something like that with a calendar & dates. Is what i want possible?
I have made a small db for a friend & to allow me to modify it, if necessary, can I split it so the front end is separate? How simple is it to replace a "front end" when & if necessary?
