I have a combo called combo7 but in the combo's field view it says batch3. I can't remember how it got to be that way but it has been working ok so I will leave...

Form Opening to a New Record

Go to your forms properties and look under the Data tab. Then set the Data Entry section to Yes. Next time you open your form it should be blank ready for you to add your new data. If you change your mind and want to see your data just change "Data Entry" back to NO. Hope that's what you want.

    Calendar on form

Just go to Sample Databases in this forum and look for a post called "A Neat Little Calendar". It is really a simple and tidy calendar. If you don't like that I remember Old Soft Boss had a post somewhere which had an extremely simple but 100% reliable calendar which could be started by double...

    Sub on Sub

MStef Thank you for your reply. I have looked at your posted example and the links are the same as those on my main form & subs. I have no problem with the main form + the original sub because these have been working 100% for years it's when I add the sub on the sub that I have problems.

    Sub on Sub

I want to put a sub form on a sub form which lives on a main form. So far I've had a fiddle with the changes and have had trouble with relationships. For this type of sub on sub I'm guessing I have something to learn. Any suggestions?

    DB Bloat

Thanks for your reply PH. I remember reading some time ago that someone said that, to avoid bloat, make a copy of the db then edit the copy and import the changes back into the original db. Other than a safe guard against wrecking the original I can't see why that method would help much. If the...

    DB Bloat

I just added a small number of code lines to the OnFormat in Detail section of two Reports and seem to have increased the db size by 300-500 kb. It wasn't anything big or tricky just making bold & coloured fonts in three or four fields in each report. Included is one extra report & the extra...
