ok, running to fast atm! im writing a sort function. i want to sort a texttype key. the occurences are 1 1.1 1.2 2 2.1 2.2 ... 12.1 12.2 the problem is as you sort as a teksttype, it wil put 12 above 2. Thats why i want to split it and make it numbers. THis is the only way i can think of!

try if you can open in save mode. Not sure if its possible, but when it does, u know a lot more! also are you on a lan or something? when did the problem occure. Suddenly? did you install something? give some more info.

Hi its me again. i have an other table issue. I have some required fields. When a user fills in a form, i and forgets a required field, an error pops up. But i want to change what the error says. I tried getting it by using validationrules. but i can't reach it. The access message overrules...

dont think it is a coruption or something. Try updating your access by useing the microsoftsite. try a virusscan to btw!

did you try repairing? is it just a table? Did you create it yourself? is it the same access version?
