Additional Info: List Box output on Report not formatted as expected Hi again, It looks like I may be going about my database in the wrong manner, as I haven't received any replies!! Could I be doing this in a better way? I have 5 unrelated (mostly) tables in my database. From these I...

    multiple query protection

I have quite a number of queries in my database, where one query is based upon the results of another. Is there anyway I can protect my dependent query or issue a warning if I make a change which impacts on my base query? Regards, Ginny

No of Sundays in a period

Hi David, there was 1 change I had to make to your coding to cater for the period starting on a Sunday. For n = 0 To D otherwise I was only getting 1 Sunday for the period from 11/01/2009 - 18/01/2009. Thanks again for the help rgs Ginny

No of Sundays in a period

Thanks, mailman. One scenario that's not catered for is the date range 10/01/2009 - 07/02/2009. 5 Sundays returned when there are only 4. I tried <=, but now my original problem surfaces again. Sunday - Sunday is reporting 1 less than it should. rgs Ginny

No of Sundays in a period

Hi namliam, If you try your coding on the following 2 sets of dates you will see why this doesn't work: from 04/01/2009 - 08/02/2009 = 6 Sundays and 05/01/2009 - 07/02/2009 = 4 Sundays. It's this extra deduction that I am having a problem with!!! Thanks Ginny

No of Sundays in a period

I want to find the number of Sundays in a period. I am asking the inputter to give me the start date of a period and the end date. Can someone suggest coding to iterate through the dates and count the weekday index 7 only. I'm getting bogged down in this. Help appreciated. rgs Ginny

    Custom menu

Hi Smiler44 I put that into the Personal Workbook and it's not bad. I then decided to code it rather than use Excel's facility for making menu's and this is much more satisfactory. I have solved both my problems this way. Thanks for the suggestion. Ginny

    Date Conversion

Hi I’m importing a date which is in the format dd.mm.yyyy. I need this field as a date in my database. The following works in a Query: LEFT(Import_Table.F6],2)+"/"+MID([Import_Table.F6],4,2)+"/"+RIGHT([Import_Table.F6],4) When I transfer this to VBA Code though, it doesn’t work. Dim sql...

Appending to Table using table Variable name

Hi Bob, There is a reason that the data has to be separated into each monthly table. The additional tables that would be needed cause as many problems if not more than keeping the data in 12 separate tables. The database is building a monthly trend for me. This is a bit complicated, but...
