    Importing data

Make a copy of the database somewhere, rename it and then just delete what you don't need from it. It is going to be the quickest way. K

    Importing data

Okay stupid question time... How do you develop without seeing the data? Is it items that are considered private in nature like managment reviews? You are going to need some data to build forms, queries and reports. So why wouldn't you want to see the data? K

    Importing data

If you don't want to split the database. Just copy the db to a different folder or drive. Rename the thing and just delete what you don't need or want. Leave the tables you need and go from there. Far easier I think than what you have been trying to do. I would split the database if you are...

    Compact and Repair Database

It works great if you are the only one in a database at the time you close it. been stumped on this one for days

Do you have a sample you could maybe upload? You need to have something that ties it all together, like a date, that makes it easier. We use a report here that is made up of 4 subreports tied by name, date or user number depending on the subreport. Kim

    Enabling Controls Dependant Upon Criteria

We are looking for a record with the current date, not just that a record exists. The table consists of a sequential number and a date field. Do you think DLookup would work better in this situation? Thank you The EvilBankers
