Search runs at the querry level. What i am looking for is to possible some how mark records to stay in the search results so say 3106 is marked to stay in results no matter what the search criteria is. Any help is more than welcome. I really apreciate your time and efforts.

Ok so I opened the dbf with excel and saved as an excel file then imported into access, manipulated the data and exported it out as dbf from access. All worked fine.

My problem is i am trying to get an ESRI shape file dbf to import or link in to access. When i try to link it fails because i do not have the ndx file. When I import it says it can't find the object. The purpose is to build upon the dbf because i need more display info.
