more than just COUNT in query

You could sum them in a report that groups first by club, then second by their schedule (parttime or fulltime) and then sums the part and full time employees in the schedule groups. Create a text box in the schedule group header; sum with =count(*) as control source.

A way to change the row height is to change the font size. With the picture, using a resident graphics program such as Microsoft PhotoShop Editor, change the jpeg to bmp. Hope those help. Brent

OpenReportButton displays in 97 but not in 2000

Can't explain the how or why, yet copying the database and opening the copy in 2000 allowed for the Preview Report CommandButton to become visible. Then, opening the original version in 2000 made available the Preview Report CommandButton that had not been displayed in 2000 previously.

OpenReportButton displays in 97 but not in 2000

This is curious George. After developing a database in 97 that includes an Options form that displays a list of OpenReport buttons, I then trained users on 97 and users on 2000. Returning from the trainings, I created another button for the list of OpenReports on the Options form to open a...

New look Access World Home Page

Agreement with the many comments on it being more professional. 1. the graphics tend to pull ones attention off to left. if you could displace the white guy segment on the left over to the right with soft transition from keys to guy, it may cause the eye to rest left, hence nearer to list...

Move focus off combo from NotInList

I have a combo box pulling a record from a table other than the one the form is sourced to. Users look for client's in the dropdown to automatically populate a set of the form's text boxes. At times the user will type into the combobox in search of a client, who happens not to be in either...

Pulling and Pushing - this is work.

Hi all, I am unpolished in access and have run upon a challenge. What I have coming in are new referral sheets for Client services. Most of the time, these referrals are from previously tablulated clients. Their basic information can be pulled off of a readonly link to table...

automatically populating record values in form text boxes

Jack, you're a great editor. My mistake was to say a second 'table' in the outset of the second paragraph. What I have is a second 'form.'

automatically populating record values in form text boxes

Four tables and a junctioning query underlie two forms. The first form is used to enter new records into the tables. The second form would be used to edit values in the tables. In the second form, upon entering a unique value, such as LastName, in a text box, what would I do to automatically...
