Can't you just do it through the linked tables manager - tools > add ins > linked table manager. That's how i re-link fe to be after i have had to move them. Anna

Is there any way using RunCommand acCmdNewObjectQuery to open the query as read only? Or.... is there another way to do it? I'd like users to be able to create their own queries, but not to be able to "accidently" corrupt the data. Thanks, Anna
