Capturing a date by selecting a button

Hello all. We have product orders that get held in process for a variety of reasons (contract not signed properly, missing drawings, etc). It is our Order Processing Rep's (OPR) responsibility to review the requirements, follow up with the salesman, get the proper documents together and get...

Hi Christine. I try not to make it a habit to reply on things I am not totally sure about, but I think you might try Forms![Main Menu].Visible = True I am pretty sure the space might be causing you at least part of the problem. Good luck!!

    Filter on field entry.

I would like to make filtering in a form as e-a-s-y as possible for a group pf people who have mostly never used Access. I need some help with an idea. I have a form they fill out to enter their data... but then they later might have to come back in to edit the record or add additional data...

Can someone please explain basic query logic to me?

Yes, it does. Thank you. I guess one thing I need to be sure of is that NullQuery includes all the fields of MainTable. Thanks, guys.

Can someone please explain basic query logic to me?

I am not sure if I understand this... I have MainTable, on which I base MainForm. I would like to have MainForm show only the records that have a null value in CertainField. If I write NullQuery to select only those records, can I redirect MainForm to NullQuery? Well, I know I can do...

Updating a Current Form ( Visable fileds )

Thanks to WAZZ !!! I myself am trying to have particular subforms show based on a choice in a list box. The ON CURRENT worked for me to solve the problem of choosing a selection, having the appropriate subform show in that record, then rolling to a new record, but getting the same subform...

ARGH !! Need help on Visible/Invisible subform

Here's A Lesson --- The list box I am using is bound to a table. As I wanted to be able to manipulate the order of the list, I used an Autonum field as the ORDER BY. However, I FORGOT to go into the list box property and set the BOUND column to "2" instead of "1". The value was being...

Make only one of several subforms visible

Thanks for the heads up on the option group. I tried this out based on what you said, and was able to get a subform to appear/disappear based on the choice in a checkbox. I'll try it with an option group next... and multiple subforms. I think I can get through it from here, as the VBA is...

Using the Tab key in a table

Tabbing in a table normally takes your cursor to the next cell. Can I use it the way in works in normal text, in that it moves text to the next tab stop? Any help on how to do this? Thanks!!

I'm not sure what "Very Hidden" means, but you can hide a worksheet by highlighting its tab and going to the Format menu, Worksheet-Hide.

    Stacked bar chart trouble

Whenever I create a stacked bar chart, the value axis defaults to a scale of 0%-100% and all my stacked bars end up the same height. I change the scale but, for example, if I change it to "number" then the scale goes from 0-1. I am going mad... how do I get the scale to be number values...

    Can't figure this one out... ... ...

How close can you come to solving this? Eight card-playing people are going to play a game of bridge (2-person teams), with four people each at two tables. They will play seven rounds and rotate partnerships after each round so that each player plays with every other player as a partner...
