Instead copy the query SQL and paste it into the RowSource of the combo box that references the query. Then you can: me.MyCombo_Box.requery you wont need the queries after doing this

You mis understood my last post "Change the fields label caption " Not the name. the caption is what shows in the field name header, and always replaces the field name.

Forgot to mention: I forgot to add the form reference if you need it in the main form referencing the subform. try this: ****Edit*** =me!YourSubformName.[Form]![CalculationField] and in your subform footer: =count([YourFieldNameHere]) ****Edit**** If that don't work use the expession builder.

Well keep playing with it. I got mine to work, so I don't know why yours is not working.
