Well, what the users want is to be able to multi select, and to start at any list box and have all of the boxes, above and below, change accordingly. It's simply what I've been asked for.......

Basically.... I have these list boxes: Rep Brands Stocked Country(this will mostly only ever be England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales etc) Region County Currency Office Rep The users want to able to choose from any of these options first, and then the others will then limit the choices to what...

As for where it looks for the information......the only place I have this stored together is in my master spreadsheet, I can't think of any feasible query that could extract the info....do I need to create seperate tables for every scenario...?

I didn't do the combo boxes idea as they decided on the list boxes before I had chance to.. The idea of the database I'm building is so that the users don't have to sort everything in spreadsheets as this is what they are doing now.

7+ boxes, so that when a choice is made in one - the options in all of the other boxes chane accordingly. The same as the post I made the other week about synchronizing combo boxes...it's just that now my users have decided they'd like multi-select listboxes...

Simply, I need to know if I'm barking up the wrong tree before I start....

Should've explained more, I will have fields like Sales Rep, Country, County, Region - if someone chose a particular sales rep then it would need to just pick the countries, counties and regions they deal with - equally if someone picked a region it would need to show just the reps who deal with...

I'm already in the process of complaining to Staples after being mis-sold the 'Student Pack' with 50 'free' music downloads....you needed a credit card to activate the 'free' downloads which was then subsequently charged £25! The download company, emusic, of course have a 'no refunds' policy!

True but it's still cheaper than buying it normally and better tahn staying with Vista!
