Ok here's my worry. I thought about this but couldn't get to a conclusion on how to do it. My database is about car pooling system, so i want 2 forms, to check 1 or more car in and to check 1 or more car out. When i check a car out, it should update the other form (check cars in) and also this...

ok .. ill tell you a way that will enable a command button to search whatever you type in a text box, directly from the table... This is the shortcut way of doing it, if you want the whole process do tell me, and unlike most users here i will be happy to instruct you.. so here it goes...

it asks me to enter parameter value :confused: ........ and also... wat d o i have to do with my check box and combo button ?? i have to configure the check box atleast if not hte combobox to the query.... so how do i do it ??

yep i know it would be a disaster, but i will be make this function available for the admins by password protecting the command button that will make this combo box visible. ;) .. btw... the sql code doesn't work, it gives an error which says - "characters found after end of SQL statement" :(...

ok ill try: i want to make a combo box, which list tables and when i click on any, it should open. i can handle the VB code, but i need the sql to list the tables in the combo box... is that any better ??? :o

umm.. i dont want any fields, i want the tables itself... i want to open tables from a combo box. for that i need row source/ sql code for the tables... so thats why i don't know wat to remove and what to keep :confused:
