I have a report that spits out the details of different performing types (performances, TV&Radio, Assemblies, etc.). Normally I would just sort the report ascending or descending - however, my boss wants "Performances" to be first everytime - and then the rest of the categories either ascending...

I've read a few posts where the person posting has mentioned that reports based on queries are better that reports based on tables. I just wanted to know what the reasoning behind that thought is. Thanks!

I hate to even ask this question - but two days ago the option to sort data of a table while in datasheet view disappeared. The button is greyed out as well as the option under the 'Records' menu. Anyone know how or why this happened and how to get that ability back? Thanks a ton in advance!
