    Turning ticks into numerical values?

The criteria in the query? I've added the below code: "MyNewFld: iif[Flight_requested]"=("Yes",1,0) Which doesn't work! Should I have altered the MyNewFld part? I also get an error about the syntax (comma), could this be due to my other criteria?

Showing hidden fields when box is ticked

Ahhh... Except - if I'm applying this to a currently existing database, is there anyway I can have the code check for a tick in the box first? So a tick always means that the fields are visible?

Showing hidden fields when box is ticked

Hello, I've been busily working on an Access database for the past few days, and would like to see if it was possible to make a (purely cosmetic) change - basically, there's a set of fields - Flight Requested, Flight Booked, Flight Booked with - Flight Requested and Booked are both tick...

    Turning ticks into numerical values?

Hello all - third post in less than two days, I'm on a roll! I was wondering if there's a way to get a numerical value out of a Yes/No field (say Yes = 1, No = 0) - for the purpose of reports (and more importantly the totals) Cheers

    Newbie-styled help with reports

Hello, I've recently been asked to update a work Access database - which would've been no problem a few years ago, when I was fully versed in such things - however, since those heady days - ring rust has crept in, and some things I thought Access did are actually things from other programs...

    Tick Boxes and their powers...

The options I have for my fields don't include the Option group, does it go under another name? I have Autnumber - Text - Yes/No, etc... But no sign of Options...I may be being dense though... Ignore that... I've woken up a bit now.... Any further advice is still welcome though!
