    On the topic of indexing fields, what's the benefit of that? Why should I? I don't remember paying much attention to that when I set my tables up...not because I thought I shouldn't, I just didn't know that I should or not.

    So in messing around with this, I've noticed that I can't make this change in 'layout view' but I can make the change in design view by right clicking on the text box and selecting Change To. Why is this? Btw...what do you mean by I have a Control on my form that is a textbox ControlType...

    I was able to make a query with this attachment field for the images that brought up every record that had an attachment (image) in the field. That SQL makes sense, but I'm not sure where I would put that. Query? Table?? Please advise further...thank you!

    nope...it is a autonumber field to a text field. In my current database that I'm trying to change, it is set up as an autonumber field to a number field. Now it will be an autonumber field to a text field.
