How to compare yes/no field with dates

I have an update query, which updates my field(Confirm) in my table to yesterday's date and puts a checkmark in my yes/no field. I have another date field(Changed) that I want to compare to my Confirm field and see if the dates are the same. If they are not the same I want to take the...

    Simple Subform Calculation

I always do my calculations in my query. Do this in your query: Units on hand:Sum([UnitsReceived])-([UnitsSold]), then put the field Units on hand at the footer. :)

    spliting the detail section?

Go to page Setup again and change your column layout at the bottom to Across, then down. You can even change your column size to make the layout look better. I hope that solves your problem :)

    SubReport Margins

My guess would be your subreport is causing this. Make sure to check for can shrink and grow properties in your subreport in design mode in your actual report. Reports are very tricky;)

    SubReport Margins

Also set your can shrink and grow property to yes and play around with it, that might be causing it too.

    SubReport Margins

In your detail section select all and move everything down and see what is causing it. Even if one of your lines or text boxes is bigger than the line the space will show:)

    trouble with reports

I am just curious to know if you are using croostab query to get the information. You said in your first email that your report looks like crosstab. If that is the case, you should create a crosstab query first and run your report based on the crosstab. Then you would be more flexable as far...

    spliting the detail section?

I see what you are saying now! If you put your graph in your detail section, it will be repeated 9 times or however many records you have. The best way would be to split your report to 2 columns and use the space that way too. Going to File/Page setup and change the column to 2. Then you can...

    spliting the detail section?

Anything is possible! Yes it is possible to put a graph there. Are you going to be using the graph as a subreport? Reports are very flexable and if you play around with the size of your fields, you can stick pretty much anything you want in your reoprts. I hope that helped!
