Querying (and appending) only new records?

It would be best to run the append a couple of times a day. The number of records in total would be in the region of 2600...however, the new records may only be around 5-10 at a time (when the append query is ran). Thanks, -NS

Querying (and appending) only new records?

Humm..you might be right! However, is this the correct way to go about it? I'm thinking about how long it would take to do that every time the database is opened! Thanks, -NS

Report missing random fields in Access 2007?

Hey, thanks to the both of you for your replies. I will try and get a screenshot tomorrow, it's very strange! I dont think it's a problem with the fields as it all pulls through on query or with borders as the missing fields are not near the borders (and the fields near the borders display...

Report missing random fields in Access 2007?

Hey all, I have produced a report that when ran produces a pre-formatted report based on a certain criteria. This works perfectly but once I go to print preview it misses random fields out. I don't think it's the borders as the missing fields are sporadic and not near the edge of the page. Any...

Linking new "pop-up" form with existing main form?

Thanks for the quick reply! That seems to be what I am looking for. However, I notice that you have to refer to the control that the restriciton is based on. Unfortunately I dont display the PK on the form...does this matter or can I still refer to the PK even tho it isnt displayed? Thanks, NS

    Simple radio button question...

Thanks. I have just tried this I've found that it's not what I really need. What I now need is two tick boxes (not radio buttons) of which only one can be ticked at one time (but sometimes neither will be ticked...which is why I couldnt use radio buttons) Any help is really appreciated :) NS

    Simple radio button question...

Hey all, Basically, I have 2 radio buttons A and B. These are bound to 2 fields within my table. What I need then to do is that whenever B is ticked, A shouldn't be and whenever A is ticked, B shouldnt be. In simple terms, only one should be ticked at any one time. This sounds easy but is...

    Linking combo box to subform?

Hey all, Very simple question probably but my mind has gone blank! ...How do I link a combo box on a form (contains employee number) to a subform on the same form? I.e. I select 12345 from the combo box and only employee 12345's records will be shown in the subform. Also, If possible, I dont...

    Access 2007 - Web forms?

From memory, I believe Access webforms used to run fine from a shared folder. Does anyone know what format these were? ...and if it would be possible to replicate them by coding them by hand or using a package such as dreamweaver etc?

    Counting instances of a record?

Many many thanks to MSAccessRookie and Gemma-the-Husky. From gaining what info I could from your replies I have managed to sort this out. My solution seems to be a mix of your 2 replies. It may not be the most well built query but it seems to work :) Thanks again, -NS
