Still having problem with multiselect listbox code

Oops! That's what happens when you ask and respond to a question when on the phone helping customers! I didn't see pbaldy's response and also found a typo in the code! Plus a typo on the response to ByteMizer ( I meant Thank you not then you) :) I'll try it when I'm more calm and not so...

Hello All, If I wanted to do something similar to what this code does (I want to post invoice fees to the database), but I want to run through the whole list and not only the selected items on the listbox, how could I modify the code to run through the list without having to select the...

Hi dkinley, Thanks for the info. I like the advice on a safety net to not double post. I'll keep that in mind. As to the module recommendation, I've never worked with modules. Could you point me in the right direction to read on it?? Or should I find some info by doing a search on the...

    Multiple Choice Parameters???

Basically you make a button that calls the form. Then within that form you make the combo box with the two selections. and antoher button that calls the Query. That way it works like you had it before, but you have the query look for the answer on this new form's combo box. You enter in the...

    Review Dates Query Results

I figured it out! I'll post it here just in case someone ponder on the solution :) I had to do the [AssignedDate]+# in the Query not the Report and format([AssignedDate]+#,"short date") Then I was able to add the Criteria: Format(Date(),"Short Date") and presto! It only took me a couple of...

    Multiple Choice Parameters???

OK easy enough in the query enter the following: [Enter ADDITIONS or REPLACEMENT] This should give them the two words they need to know. They will still need to enter them, but they will be right in front of them to see. The Brackets [] will prompt them to enter and the words inside the...

    Multiple Choice Parameters???

Let me understand: The form you are working with, the one you did a screen shot of, is the information you want for the record you are looking for, correct? If that's the case, select a few more distinct fields that you have on that form and reference them on your query the same way you did the...

    Multiple Choice Parameters???

That is doable, what you need to do is choose some other fields to filter by and do that same you did with the "Additions" field. That way you are modifying the quiery according to what is on the form.

    Distinct entries of filtered column?

Within the Query on the field that you want to filter under Criteria enter somthing like: Like "*A" or "*K" The "*" (Asterisk) is like a wildcard that will ignore anything else and look for any record that will have the A or K in it. Give it a try.
