Solved Loop through continuous form and assign value to textbox

Thanks for that. In the end I created two similar crosstab queries - one with details and other with ID values (to link to other forms) and joined together in a final query which will be what my form is based on. Seems to be working well!

    Print conditional formatting

I have code to export my (datasheet) form to RTF format which works nicely. However the conditional formatting is not showing up. Is there anything I can add to this? Private Sub cmdExport_Click() Dim Fldr As String With Application.FileDialog(4) .AllowMultiSelect = False...

Solved Loop through continuous form and assign value to textbox

At the moment my closest solution is to use calculated fields which are hidden and then do a concatenate to show the results of these textboxes. But it is slow to load the form... Can you elaborate on best way to use a temp form - is it to store the results of the records? Maybe I should just...

Solved Loop through continuous form and assign value to textbox

Hi I have a continuous form based on a crosstab query. The data at the moment is just displaying ID numbers, however it is simple to lookup more meaningful data from the ID. However I am having trouble looping through the fields and assigning the new data to the textbox. When I try all the...

Solved SQL to display user events

I will probably not be using the event types at all though. But thanks for the idea.

Solved SQL to display user events

I'll be importing this data into my main DB so probably will do an append query with this data including a join to include both queries on one row for each user. The join will have to be on UserID and Date I guess?

Input Form to display sessions on one page

Yes you are right. But I really don't know the best way to do this - hence the confusion with the subforms and queries. I think that using the qryStaffLessonsByDay as a good sample query to find the lessons for the relevant staff member is a good starter and then the qryStudentSessions should...

Solved SQL to display user events

Hi, I'm using a SQL query tool (not Access) on a database but not sure exactly how to write my SQL to get the desired results. The table I'm querying is Events and it contains some of the following fields: EventID EventTime EventTypeID EventDetails UserID CardNumber I would like to regularly...

Input Form to display sessions on one page

Not sure what you mean - student table only contains each students info and nothing duplicated; same with staff table - all info required for my form should be in the tables illustrated above. Would you like a copy of the DB?

Input Form to display sessions on one page

I can do that but it got mixed up when trying to do sessions for each day on one form so they can just put in week beginning at top and all the sessions of week are shown with students, grouped by day.

Input Form to display sessions on one page

No all the sessions are recorded on the database and can be viewed in a day-view or according to which staff member signed in. I have been able to display a staff members sessions but not in the view I am looking for.

    Solved Search inc backspace

Figured it out. It was always adding to the current filter instead of overwriting it!

    Solved Search inc backspace

Hi, I have this function which works great to search within continuous form however when I backspace in the search box, it doesn't amend the search results. Can anyone suggest how this would be possible? Private Sub SearchFor_Change() On Error GoTo Err_SearchFor_Change Dim strFilter As...

    Solved Error 3077

    Hi I've written this line of code which compiles without problem but when executed I get a run time error 3077. rst2.FindFirst "[fldDate] = #" & Format(d, "mm\/dd\/yy") & "# AND [fldSLStart] = #" & Format(#1:00:00 PM#, "hh:mm:ss AMPM") & "# AND [fldNote] =" & strNote Can anyone figure out why?

    Opposite of Current Event

I'll be using different filters so use a variable to store record ID. But was wondering if there was better option.
