I have converted my DB from 2000/2003 to 2007. It's gone very well and everything seems to be working, but I have a problem with a couple of my forms and could do with some advice. I have two forms that I use in datasheet format, when they open up in 2007 format I see lots of drop-down menus...

I'm converting to 2007 first. I have to say that I'm really liking Access 2007.

I don't have the Developer option at the bottom of the menu...

I do have Access 2007, I also have the developer extensions and runtime.

Probably me being dumb, but any help appreciated. I have Access 2003 and that's where my DB has been developed. I've downloaded the 2007 Office Pro trial then the developer extensions and then Runtime. I was expecting that the Package Wizard would walk me through the, well, packaging...

As a stand alone, single site single job database it works very well as is. It is a little high maintenance, changing the VAT rate was a pain for instance, but consolidated reports is just the next step in its evolution and not beccessarily a major flaw in the original; it's not soemthing I need...

I agree totally and can see that a single database would have had some advantages, but the multiple site / multiple client aspect was beyond me when I was working on it ( still is come to that :) ). I'm hoping to find the time to build a V2 and if I do then I would clearly design it a little...

I've asked a lot of questions here, and have now concluded that Runtime is neccessary for me. I'm using Access 2003 and I don't have the developer tools, or I don't think I do. As far as I'm aware, my MS Works / Office are completely legit but it came pre-loaded so I don't have original disks...
