There is a method using a single generic function for almost any multi select listbox here. It would not be the most efficient with larger numbers of records.

I'm not sure what you mean by "gridlines" on reports. You can add lines and borders. There are also grid "Dots" in design view. What do you mean by not being able to use gridlines. Maybe it's Doc's WAG.
