I have to select only those records which do not have a 'closing date' and then then find the date difference between the ' Open date' and 'current date' PLEASE HELP!!!

I need a query to generate the date difference between a given start date and the current date. Please help!!!

I have access 2002 and it does not open any files for editing. I am just able to view the forms. The file is not read only. I also tried to create a new db... stil the same problem.

ppl, i need to add a new field/ column to my table. the new field is the difference of two other columns in the table. can i do this without writing a query. and is there a way i can find the number of working days between two dates... like NETWORKDAYS in excel. thanks a lot
