How can I enter something that isn't in my combo box and have it entered and saved w/ the rest of my choices?

I have an inventory database and one of my fields is office version, Under office version I tried to make checkboxes for example I did Access, Word, excell, Powerpoint and next to them I had the little checkbox but when it wouldn't let me check more than one box. How can I check them all?

When I go to my next record combo box value stays in the box. How do I make it so that when I go to the next record it resets?
