    I should have said, no to the Access version, OS changes, database changes or storage location. What I don't know is if there where any patches or fixes applies that may have affected my files.

    Not that I know of, but I work for a large company and we don't get notified of changes, they just happen. I guess it's time to call the Help Desk. Thanks for the reply and if you have any tips, please let me know. :)

    Hello - I have been using linked tables, to various dBase files, for many months, no problems. Last week I started getting the error "External Table is not in the Expected Format" when I try to create a new link or when I use the Link Manager to update the exsiting links. What to do? :banghead:
