Thanks for the reply - the query behind the report is a really simple select all where x=yes. and the only calculation on the report does appear! I cant use print preview as we use buttons on the reports to export/print etc!

I've got an access database that has numerous reports opening in 'report view'. When they open only a couple of elements are visible. Once you highlight the report the other elements appear? Any ideas?
