Muliple Drop-Down Boxes in Access 2010

Yes. As an example, Janitorial in Level 2, should only have 1 answer in the drop-down for Level 3. It does the first time the user enters it and then when he goes to the next record it doesn't clear itself, it's the exact same answer, no matter what the user chooses for Level 2 on the next...

Muliple Drop-Down Boxes in Access 2010

I tried to figure out the City, State Access that you attached and I can get 2 levels to work on my database, just like yours. It's that 3rd level that refuses to work after the first entry. How do you tie a 3rd level to levels 1 and 2? I tried requery and that didn't work. It didn't show...

Muliple Drop-Down Boxes in Access 2010

Instead of doing it with the Row Source on the Data Tab, do you think I could just rewrite it in VBA to handle it all somehow? Thoughts?

Muliple Drop-Down Boxes in Access 2010

I have macRequery On Entry and that's not clearing it for some reason. It comes up with whatever was used in a previous entry. I can get 2 drop-down boxes to work, it's when I add a 3rd drop-down to work off the results of the 2nd in relation to the 1st that I have problems and it won't clear...

Muliple Drop-Down Boxes in Access 2010

In Access 2010, I have a SubForm that I have created a Table that has Drop Down Boxes that when the user choses from one box, it lists items in the second box that are only associated with the answer from the first Drop Down Box. Then I'm trying to get it to list from a 3rd Drop Down Box that...

How to manipulate Zeroes in a Unit Price field in a Report

I opened up the attached database and it still shows the rounded version of the .2895 as .29 unless it's clicked on. I've been told that our system doesn't handle the ME. codes. Usually errors out. This isn't erroring though, just not working it seems.

Running Querries Is Locking Out Other Users

It's on a SQL Server that it's loaded on. The employees are entering orders that will create a report that is turned in for approval. It can't be done at night, it's live during the day. It's not a push. The querries are financials that are run off the data that the employee enters. Those...

How to manipulate Zeroes in a Unit Price field in a Report

Click on the Purchase Request button. ID 14004 is an example of the display issue. If you click on the Purchase Order button in the middle of the screen (for Printing), you will see that it prints out correctly.

Running Querries Is Locking Out Other Users

I created a Purchasing Database. It went live and everything is fine except when someone wants to run a query or just ran a query. It locks everyone else out that is not in and the ones that are in doesn't seem to be affected. The database has no locks set and it's set to shared. Why would...

How to manipulate Zeroes in a Unit Price field in a Report

It worked when I changed the decimal place to 2. Bad thing is it rounds it to 2 on display unless you click in the field it will go back out to the 5 digit number that is actually there. It prints correctly also (5 digit number). When I set the decimal place to 5, it wouldn't work (showed...

How to manipulate Zeroes in a Unit Price field in a Report

I have created a report and, in the unit price field, I have set the decimal place to 5 in the report properties. Sometimes we have pricing for items up to 5 decimals long, such as $10.02985. It is rare though, so I'm to see if there is a way to have it drop the zeros down to 2 decimals when...

    Greyed Out New Record Problem

The Years Code Table does have Years Code field name the same as in the Employee Info Table and Location in the Location Table is the same name as the Employee Info Table. I included those extra tables as pull-down data to choose from for the Form. How do I get the database to understand that...
