Thanks will have a look at doing that. I think there might be record navigation codes left in there that refer to tables that are no more. Now to get them to reinstall access 1997......

Had a database that worked fine in 1997. However we have just updated to 2000 and I have been having lots of problems with the conversion. Initially it would not convert. I left it "thinking" overnight and this was not enough time. So I imported all the tables, queries etc from my old database...
