    its your Condition in your query... from Like "“*”" & [Forms]![SearchF]![DesigTeacher] & "“*”" to many quotes double quotes. change it to Like "*" & [Forms]![SearchF]![DesigTeacher] & "*" as a matter of fact when typing the criteria in to Access, leave out the "", the Design window will help...

    I keep the branch there in case the person has been reassigned to another branch. That way I can keep track of branch specific information. Its a strange world. Did I mention that this was meant to sit on a Sharepoint site since their IT dept doesn't want to touch this with a barge pole...

    Basically for reports. If I needed a report with everything, this would be where I look for the information. All sorts of HR reports that span the Organisation. And also as a form a really easy and not really "quick" access to the organisation wide data. Now a Make Table would be a nice idea !
