I have created a "saved imports" file for importing a txt file into my database. I am attempting to create a macro to automate the process with the ImportExportText action. When I come to the 'Specification Name' field, the dropdown list is empty. Will not allow any effort to manually...

    multiple column forms

Thank you. This solution works wonderfully. The singular issue I have is that on both subforms, the first record has what appear to be navigation icons (up and down arrows). Is there a property that I can change to get rid of it? Since the arrows don't do anything, they are nothing more than...

Good day to you all! I have a query that generates 50 records summarizing the count of observations per center. I want to display all the results on one form page, splitting the results into 2 columns. Is there a way to do so? I can set the query to display the top 25 records, but don't know...

Eliminate record count bar at bottom of a subform

Eureka! Found the nav options when I right clicked on the subform rather than selecting the subform and looking at the properties sheet. Can't explain why that happened. Thanks again!

Eliminate record count bar at bottom of a subform

Thanks to both of you for your replies. Unfortunately, there is no Navigation Buttons property that I can find in the subform properties sheet (I am running Access 365). Would it be of any help to send a screenshot of the "All" tab on the properties sheet?

Eliminate record count bar at bottom of a subform

Hello all, I have a subform which will not be navigated (entire records will be visible at all times). I want to eliminate the frame and the record count bar so that the subform will look like part of the main form. Can this be done? Thank you. JimL

Well, I thought I was deep in the south in Atlanta, but clearly, you have the crown. Like you, I am retired (a couple of years) and the proud "Pops" to 5 grandchildren all 3 years or younger with one on the way. My wife works from home so she has no choice but to put up with me!

I am using the macro builder behind the button. The first action is refresh and the second action is to run the query. Thanks

passing listbox selection to a query

Thanks so much, Isladogs! The solution works. I am faced with the fact that the criterion passed to the query appears to remain in memory even though I have added a refresh command before the openquery command. The form needs to be closed and re-opened before a new listbox entry can be passed...
