can you give a better hint i don't have a clue...about coding... i thought i could do a trick use an option button outside the option group but then the user can select 2 answers at the same time.... about the sum of the them? can you help me? i have a field and i want the sum of other fields.

hi i want to create a test with muliple choice so i create some option groups with a value to each answer that i store. the problem one is that if i give the same value to 2 checkboxes of the option group then if i chose the one of them then the other "0" is selected too what can i do? the other...

can you give me an example i know for you it's easy but i can't figure it out..... i put this in row data of the field? and what somefield1, somefield2....means? i am talking about several check boxes that you can select all of them and store one single value at one cell that will look like...

ok here is what i did it is very simple... the field should be text... then in the form create an option group the values will be a number 1 and 2 for each option button select the field as the one that you want to store the value. if you check it it stores 1 or 2 now go back at the table at...

this is an html file i want in access these to be added in on single cell each one seperated by a comma (data1, data2,....)

thanks but this is to complex... i understood it but i will have too many tables and relations between them... is there any code to store each value of the check boxes in one cell seperated by a coma? data1, data2, data3....

you mean i should create a seperate table for each situation i have like this with the multiple choices...instead of using checkboxes.

thanks a lot for your quick response fellas if i use option group it stores only numbers, but i want to store text and not numbers. if i use a check box instead of 2 option box and use yes/no it stores yes or no but it makes it less functional for the user....

thanks for your quick response but why a cell should be atomic? what should i do to accomplish that? you think i should add separate cells for each option i want? i think it's easier for me to check the data this way data1, data2, data3 in one cell
