    Sun Getting Smaller

This observation occurs for explosions in our atmosphere (i.e. not in a vacuum). This phenomena occurs due to a pressure wave (which must have a medium, such as air). The Big Bang would have occured in the absence of everything. So you can't really say that the universe would contract.

    Sun Getting Smaller

True, true..but by observation only. The 'laws' of physics are by no mean immutable. They are essentially the best conclusions drawn based on what data is available now. How do we know things might not change? Something new might be discovered. By example, when Newton first developed...

    Problem after database split

I discovered a jury-rig solution. On the import, I simply did not check the option to import Toolbars. Although I don't want the custom one there, this at least alleviates the command button problem. I can modify the Toolbar at least, maybe it'll add some value to the project.

'ello all, The moment of truth finally came and I split my database FE/BE for testing only the truth was a bit sour. Background: I have several forms in my database that have a common series of buttons at the top which open their corresponding form. Before the split, everything was fine - you...

    California surprise election

Any Californians out there? What are your thoughts on the 'surprise' November 8th elections that The Governator (Arnold Schwarzenegger for any non-Californians) is spending much hard-earned tax dollars on? The only ones I felt were worth supporting are propositions 79 and 80. Vetos on the...

Thanks for the help! These bits of information are just what I needed..the FileDateTime() function and to remember that when in doubt, go back to the basics! I searched other places, just not here, how's that for short-sightedness? I'm taking a note to give the Search option a...

'ello all, Background: I'm working on an automation project between MS Project 2000 and MS Access 2000 and was hoping someone could lend a hand. One thing that I want to do is import a list of WBS task numbers from a Project .mpp file into Access. Periodically, a .mpp file will be used to...
