Lost menu bars When access starts up, you say you have the 'getting started' bar .. right click on it, click 'database' and if necessary click on 'customise' then 'Toolbars' then check 'menu bar'.

XP Buttons go to 'Tools' then 'Options' the 'Forms/Reports' then check 'Use Windows Themed Controls on Forms'

My Asset Database As a new member I have 'watched' this board for a long time, I thought you would like to see my database that I designed that I use daily. I built it out of knowledge from forums like this, books, etc.
