Print Main Report with selected subreports.

Just driving around in car, I thought I wonder if the .visible can apply to a page break and it can. I just did a quick test as Rabbie thought so too! Me.EndOfFirstPage.Visible = False and it works. Now I will just tie it in to the option group Yes/No - True/False bit and I am away.

Print Main Report with selected subreports.

THanks for that. I adapted it slightly as it was easier to use an option group per subreport with simple yes/no options that users select and it works a treat. What is giving me a headache at the moment, is page breaks. Before each subreport I had a page break. Now if I leave the page break...

Print Main Report with selected subreports.

I have one report, which has approxiamtely 10 subreports. Sometimes it is not neccessary to print all the subreports off, just specific ones. I would like to have in my report list (I use the list box method) that when a user selects custom report, it brings up a form, where tick boxes can be...

Printing a PDF file out using VBA

I have tried scouring the internet and find find answer to this and Adobe's SDK etc is confusing hell out of me. What I have to produce is a pack for new clients and this consists of many documents which are in MS Word. This works fine and got that working fine, but one document gets supplied...

    Business FE/BE Help

Although I cant really answer the question you are asking myself, I think it might help those better in the know, to answer if you can give an idea of how many users/terminals you have so they have an idea of what the numbers are for performance sake.

New SmartPhone - HTC S710 or I-Mate SPL

I am looking at replacing my phone with a smart phone. I have had an O2 XDA IIi and s and do like them, however they are a bit large, and I find the fact that if the device wakes up on its own, it releases the key lock so you can end up with the backlight on whilst its in your pocket draining...

    Exchange Server 2003

I currently have a Windows 2003 SBS Server running Exchange Standard. I have learnt so much fiddling about with it, it now needs clearing out and starting again. Using a list box to call VBA function or Macro

That helped no end Peter! Thanks! I had already put things over in to an actual module as I do now want to tidy things up and can now put alot of 'report generating' code in to one place so its less agro knowing where things are. The code ended up being for reference Debug.Print...

Using a list box to call VBA function or Macro

I cant fathom this out to save my life. In an effort to try and make it clear what I have in case there is misunderstanding. 1 Table, tblMonitoringLogsList with 2 fields, FunctionName, FunctionNameOnList List box, has 2 columns assigned to it, with the FunctionName field hidden, so only...

http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=123538 Following on from that thread, I would really like to tidy up other areas of my front end. I am using the idea that Roy suggested and it works very well. At the moment, I have a form, that has buttons on it that people click...

List Box of Reports - Filtering Result

Thanks Roy, I quite like your idea, one or two users will need certain parameters set for them and this seems like a good idea. Do you know if there is a sample database that would show me the idea of the tables you mention and how to reference them within code etc? I dont use spaces in names...

List Box of Reports - Filtering Result

Thanks for that, I can see how it would work but I have got no idea at what stage to integrate that in of the code and I assume it would have to be around an if statement due to the then at the end of that line.

List Box of Reports - Filtering Result

http://allenbrowne.com/ser-19.html I use the call back function to generate my list of reports in a list box. I chose to use this method as it seems like an easy way to do what I want, and to a certain extent understand how it works. What I would really like to be able to do, is have it...

Split one field in to two - How?

Got it, dont know why it screwed up there, perhaps I saw a comma instead of a full stop etc. You know what it can be like when you go bosseyed. I just realised that there is a couple of records which hold co-dydramol, so it removes it there, but manually editing 9 records is better than editing...

Split one field in to two - How?

OK hitting a brick wall here. Where do I put the code in for the two fields I want to create? I have tried having the code in the name of the field so it reads like Expr1:=trim(left........... and I have tried creating the fields and running an update query using the new fields. But I just...
