I am developing a membership data base from a MS Template. It aleady has the means to print member lists and invoices, but no letters. I would like to also have the capability of writing a letter to one or all of the members directly from the data base.

Hey I did it! With the help from all of you I have the template loaded with the correct info and even added some new fields. Thanks to you all. I am sure I'll be back with more questions later.

Ok I can find the list of field names but, they are the names from the orginal template not from the table I made from the excell sheet. How do I open the from in design and show the proper field list?

Well, some progress, but all I get in the members data form (template) is the first and last names. All the other fields have #name in them?? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, just got back to this. Now, I can import data from excell to a new table, but I can't load the fields in the table into the template's predesigned form. I can make a new form but I want to use the frorm that came with the template.

help with template Thanks, I did that and I have the member information in a database view. Now, how do I insert this into the form that shows each members individual data without typing it in field by field? That's where I am having the problem.
