you can handel it in your SQL also , in where clause just add column_name is not null Bob what you suggest is it good to handel this case at SQL level or Report level if its filtering large records from my data??

Other way you can add one detail section for each subgroup on your main report and placed your subgroup on detail section.

mfallon, Now i got why 2nd page comming so. in second page values for column1 and column2 are comming null but column3 returning with some value. you have used "_" to concanate three column but not handeled it for null values. when u concanate null with "_" it will return null (no space) you...

Are you sure the second page which you shown is from the same the report. its really hard to beleive what you shown here.
