Access 2007 Quit macro action problem

Thanks Rural Guy - that did the trick. What's interesting is that other macros within this application worked. Just the Quit macro gave me problems so I was stumped. I appreciate you coming to the rescue.

Access 2007 Quit macro action problem

I have recently upgraded to Access 2007. An application that runs perfectly in 2003 was converted to 2007 format. A command button on the main menu runs a Quit macro to return to Windows. When I use this in 2007 I get the message "The 'Quit' macro action cannot run with the specified 'Options'...

    Advice on Access 2007 development

I have extensive experience developing application in Access 200/2003. I've been presented with an opportunity to develop a manufacturing process database but the client wants it developed in 2007. What is the learning curve for 2007 for those with prior Access experience? This is a great...

    Bye and Thanks

Well, this nis my last day of my contract. The folks here are taking me out for a nice lunch. I worked 25 years at my full time job and didn't have a lunch when I left. So, the experience has been very good. I've enjoyed my work and developed even better Access skills - thanks in good...

The utility I worked for transitioned from Mainframe to a PeopleSoft enterprise system. At a rollout meeting I estimated that it would only be a month until management wanted to view information in ways that PeopleSoft could not provide. I was wrong - it only took a week. I made a nice living...

    2000/2003 Application Development in 2007

What do you mean by a test system installed? Do you mean have all three versions of Access installed on one machine? I thought this caused problems.

Our Next president Barack Obama or John McCain

Not bad activities for a tom cat or a mongrel but we expect more of a president. Yes, I'm sure during WWII the British bombing raids on Germany only killed soldiers. Why can't we have that pinpoint accuracy today?

Our Next president Barack Obama or John McCain

Respect! He was an embarassment to the office of president. Bush is now living with his legacy of mismanagement.

Our Next president Barack Obama or John McCain

A nation's ecomony does not turn on a dime. The good economy under clinton was due to the economic policies of Ronald Regan. Bill was too busy "training" the low level help and using her as a bionic cigar humidor.

    Bye and Thanks

My contract developing Access applications ends in two weeks. The first of July I head to the Andes mountains of Venezuela to work with my non-profit organization Andean Aid. I love this work - even more than working with Access. :D Visit us at andeanaid.org if you get the chance. I'll be...

    What's Up With Peanuts???

Yes! In the U.S. if someone broke into your home, molested your wife, shot you, then enjoyed some peanuts you had in a dish on the counter and got had an alergic reaction, he would probably successfully sue you.

    What's Up With Peanuts???

OK. So, getting back on topic, am I to assume it's either Bill Gates or Steven Jobs that's responsible for the peanut death and seizure epidemic? My vote goes to Jobs. BTW my wife and I dropped in to get our Motorola cell phones repaired at an AT&T store so I wandered over to the IPhone...

    Mindless IT questions

I love when this happens! I'm a contractor at a firm where the powers that be changed all the SAP enterprise system reports and voila - all the Access applications I've been working on puked. No concern about the fish downstream when making the change. But, as a contractor I love people like...
