    Yes, that is the field with the CF. 3 attachments. First is CF screen. Next shows report results indicating the YTD Actual field where I have the CF on the group totals (pointer). Last is the REPORT VIEW of the report showing where I clicked on a total field and the color appears.

    Version is Access 2007. The (detail) field is ytd_act, and the NAME of the field I want to format is AccessTotalsytd_act. The Control source is =Avg([ytd_act]).

    My grouped report simply needs one of the group total fields to have a specific font and backcolor depending on its value (less than 4 = yellow w/black font, 4 - 5 = green w/black font, greater than 5 = blue w/white font). It is working, but it doesn't display and print. You only see the color...
