Access, please give me more blank pages!

That seems to be working! Thank you so much!!! Thanks also for the tip about the forum. Did you mean that I should have taken screenshots of the report in design mode, and attached those images?

Access, please give me more blank pages!

Okay, I wasn't really sure how to do this... I'm gonna try to post it here. If you open the "CourseEvalutionQueries" form, select the "Fall 2011" semester, select course "SW 650 Ba", and hit "Create Course Evaluation Form for this Course", you should see an example of a 4-page report (the type...

Access, please give me more blank pages!

Okay. When I do the grouping, how do I tell it to put page breaks after some of the sections, but not others? (see my post #5)

Access, please give me more blank pages!

I wasn't grouping because I didn't want the page breaks between the sections in Part II. I only wanted page breaks between the sections in Part I, and then one at the end. (See my previous post if these terms are unclear.) If there's a way to do this with grouping, then certainly I'd be open...

Access, please give me more blank pages!

I guess, but this is the only part of the report where I refer to page numbers, so do I need to worry about it? I did, yeah. I do have other page breaks. The structure of the report is: Part I, Section A (this is always 1 page) * page break * Part I, Section B (this is always 1 page) * page...

Access, please give me more blank pages!

Yup, I must not be getting it because I plugged that code in, and now odd page numbered reports are missing the last page*, while even page numbered reports don't have the page break I need. What do you mean by "numbering the pages myself"? That must be what I'm missing. * I might need to...

Access, please give me more blank pages!

I have the opposite of the problem everyone else seems to have with blank pages, i.e. I want one and Access isn't giving it to me ;) The issue is that I need a report to have an odd number of pages. (The reason for this is that the report is going to be printed double-sided, stapled, and given...

    different groups, same header

If I did the latter, though, and there were courses in the dataset from both concentration year/1st semester and concentration year/2nd semester, I would get two "Concentration Year" headers. Is there a way to get the results I described in the original post without changing my data structure?

delete query - "could not delete from specified tables"

This was in fact the issue. A very, very belated thanks :)

    different groups, same header

Okay, so I have a numeric variable called "CourseSemester" that corresponds to, shockingly, the semester in which a course is being offered. 1 = Foundation Year (1st Semester) 2 = Foundation Year (2nd Semester) 3 = Concentration Year (1st Semester) 4 = Concentration Year (2nd Semester) 5 =...

delete query - "could not delete from specified tables"

I have a problem with a delete query that yields a "could not delete from specified tables" error. The weird thing is that -- unlike all of the many web hits that I ran across attempting to solve this problem -- there aren't multiple "tables" involved at all! It is only deleting from one...

subreport with textboxes dependent on parent -- hopefully a simple one!

Okay, I have the same subreport within more than one report. If the subreport is being used within the report called "BriefQueryResult", then I don't want a certain textbox in the subreport to appear. Otherwise, I do want this textbox to appear. What should I put in the control source of the...

more than one 1-to-many per table?

I realize this is very old, but I forgot to say thanks and the advice helped, so, thanks :)

more than one 1-to-many per table?

Hi there! I am a novice trying to teach myself Access as I go because it's necessary for a project. I really hope someone here can help me out with the following problem. It seems very simple and I don't know why it's not working, but, it isn't :) I have a table ("tblStudentInfo") that...
