Can an iPhone that is switched off forward a text message to an iPad

I have one iPhone, 3 iPads and 7 Laptops. I have Gmail and emai; I receive or send will be on each of them. However, the email address is different. On the other hand the iPhone has a different number to the iPad. I was thinking iCloud would do the trick and both are signed in. I need to yet go...

Can an iPhone that is switched off forward a text message to an iPad

Yes, I could probably do something with phone/internet company with forwarding but want to avoid doing that. My reason is I have an iPhone SE which I got just after they came out and I want to preserve it for as long as possible.

Can an iPhone that is switched off forward a text message to an iPad

My iPhone when turned on will forward text messages to my iPad and also notice of a phone call. Is there any way to do it when the phone is switched off.

What's your feeling about churches and Christianity?

You have to bear in mind with "born again" Christians and other Bible believers that their starting premise is God exits. In fact for purposes of the Bible God having existed will do the trick. For Joshua to stop the Sun in the sky the earth had to stop spinning so everyone should have flown...

    Weird Problem (to me anyway)

Agree 100% with all that. Sometimes I have found "import" will get hung up on an object like a Form.

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

A couple of negatives compared to an iPad if just used like an iPad. Like any computer it will use more battery in sleep in mode than an iPad. You can put Hibernate on the "shutdown" menu but that does not come on instantly like hitting the Home button on an iPad. With the camera, I am not a...

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

I bought it at a placed called Officeworks in Australia. Could not see it there any more and 7 port ones are a different brand. I just took a photo of it with iPhone but is 2 mb so way too big jpeg to upload. Brand on it is mbeat. It has 7 ports on the side and 6 ports on the top. I just...

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

I made a mistake with that as I just discovered. I opened Word on the Portege and no typing but I had forgot the wireless keyboard was now connected to the Surface Go, not the Portege.:D I just took it a bit further. With the external CD ROM I put the software on for both printer and scanner...

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

128gb. My Porteges are also 128gd. Does not affect me as I have stuff on external hard drives plugged into USB Hub. Sometimes I copy something across and other times just run stuff straight from external drives. My Surface Go and including the other one due to arrive are cellular.

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

Dimensions are identical to standard iPad. However, unlike other laptops, all the Surface stuff and also the MS laptops are 1.5 to 1 aspect ratio as compared to 1.33 to 1 for all iPads and 1.77 to 1 for standard laptops and most monitors. I have the USB-C to VGA cable adaptor and from MS and...

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

I have Access 2003 on one of my Porteges which also has Office 365. It is for my own use as there are things I prefer with 2003. They are no trouble together. You just right click on the file and on of the menu items is Open With and you have the two different Access logos. My favourite...

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

I started using a pair of identical computers many years ago. Nearly everything I make and have made is very heavily based of producing Word docs and also with coloured letterheads and to a lesser extent Excel. If there is trouble with the application the odds are 99% the problem will be in the...

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

Some pretty fancy stuff there.:) One thing I have noticed and in particular where Access is opening Word, inserting data into Word Bookmarks and saving as a Word doc to a folder is the time taken is never the same. Also an SSD compared to mechanical disk but where the computer with mechanical...

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

A couple of interesting things with speed tests against the Toshiba Porteges which are 3 years old and have the Core M5 processor. On battery power only the Surface Go is just a touch quicker in both start up and running some lengthy procedures in Access. With charger plugger into both the...

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

One limitation I found relates to a large USB Hub I have which has 13 USB outlets. Each port can be turned off or on individually. Presently 7 ports are use. The first port for a wireless mouse receiver, second for a printer, third for a scanner, fourth and fifth for external hard drives...

Are you serious? My report is very glowing and that was driven by a couple of other people who have watched the thing. However, I don't think you fully read my report as I highlighted some potential problem areas. Also, I have been a member here for quite a bit longer than the date would...

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

I use external monitor. Personally and I stress "personally" I find the 10" perfect because with the external monitor it makes no difference but a big difference once separated from monitor. I have monitors set so only the monitor displays and they are 1366 X 768 and 18.5"

The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

The little thing is amazing. However, couple of things to be done. By default Office 365 now downloads 64 Bit. At first my Access stuff would not run. On one of my Toshiba Porteges (3 years old) I uninstalled Office 365 and downloaded Office 365 again and everything ran perfectly. HOWEVER...
