thanks everyone i fixed it. What happend was a virus or someone deleted core tables and forms and i just re imported them and then compacted and repair and waloa. thanks

this is what it tells me " microsoft office access has detected that this database is in an inconsistent state, and will be placed in a new database. Access will then open the new database. The names of objects that were not successfully recovered will be logged in the "recovery errors" table"

ill try to import a new one though that might work thanks

yea i tried it and it still messes up

so everytime i start my database it says its inconsistant and then automatic makes a backup copy. but when i go to the orginal it does it again and my switch board isnt poping up either? any ideas?
