Any ideas how I can keep an old record (ie. video history with video name and video #) but when I change a video name, the old record's video name also changes? How can I keep the old video name (video # doesn't change) because it points to the new video name when I get a new tape?? Thanks!

Thanks for helping Pat and all. I don't need to overide the calculation. Either store it somewhere and change it somehow after it has been entered. (ie. latefee is calculation of datediff's done in a query). If this doesn't help, I can send you the file to take a quick peek? THANKS!

When I click on a command button and a Macro runs and a window pops up asking me to enter data, if I click on CANCEL, I will get an error window box and then a HALT window... is there anyway and HOW/where can I avoid these windows and instead give my own message box or go to another button?? I have 2 forms that collect the some of the same data: 1 form- (Ph. #, Video #, Rental Date). 2nd form- (Video#, RETURN Date). Both forms use the same query/table but the 2nd form, when I type in the Video #, if the person has seen the video# already, it says "unsuccessful due to duplicate...
