    Excel - Data Validation - No drop-down

Thanks for the reply, but I have tried that. Copied and pasted the values in a different work book, removed the data validation, applied the data validation and selected the data (same as all the other worksheets) in the source and pasted the values back in. No drop down (before and after I...

Every worksheet is identical, just holds different data for different customers. The source and data is all in the same place and is exactly the same on every worksheet. F4 doesn't do anything except asks me to save... But if I hold Alt + Down arrow the list appears, but it holds other bits of...

Hi Brian thanks for the help, I have tried various methods, but when I use "=sumproduct(--(G2:G133=8)*(c2:c133="Blue"))" I always end up with the value of '0'... I'll even attach my spreedsheet, I have no idea why this is happening. thanks again, OddPro

    CountIF

I also want to keep my dates (Without having to change 13/08/2009 to "Aug"). So i'll need a nested: Count "Blue" in column C2:C134 Where B2:B134 >=01/08/2009 and <=30/08/2009 which hopefully results in 9 entries found.

    CountIF

I tried: =SUMPRODUCT((C2:C133="Blue")*(B2:B133="Aug")) but results in 0... Which is impossible. Could you please provide an example. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, It's all starting to sound very complicated... to me this sounded simple (in my head) but just couldn't find a way of implementing it. If you could throw up a sample xls that would be sweet. Thanks again.

    Days per Month

Sorry for being impatient, it was doing my nut trying to work out a simple way of breaking the date ranges down into network days by month. I've never used code in excel either, so I wouldn't have searched for it. Thanks, the solution provided after yours was pretty much what I was after, but...
