I have multiuser front ends and when two users try to check the multiple check boxes in the same form at the same time the second user gets a message 'Could not update, currently locked'. How can I fix this? :banghead:

Yes, I have 24 fields that allow duplicate values....I thought I could have 32.

I received an error message that I had too many indexes on a table...32 is the max I guess. I believe this is referring to the number of relationships in the table. Is there a way around this that is not too complicated...I was trying to add a list of check boxes to the table.

I have developed an access program that I am getting requests by several different potential clients to purchase the program. Is there a way I can install a key code or another method to prevent resale or free distribution of my access program?

Thank you so much for trying to help me. What I ended up doing to move the tables was to make an append query for each of the tables. It worked and the new program is running well. :)

I have HIPAA protected information in the database so I am unable to post the source database. I would think importing data from an identical access program should not be this difficult.

I imported tables from one access program to another but the forms, reports do not work. I then imported the queries and forms and they still do not bring up the information in the tables. I now have duplicates of all the tables, queries and forms. How do I get the new access program to...
