    Sorry, I get a different error: 3709: the connection cannot be used to perform this operation. It is either closed or invalid in this context. It is getting this error when it tries to execute rst.Open "dbo.Requester, cnn, adOpenKeyset, adLockOptimistic Sharon

    thanks for the quick reply. I tried these suggestions and I still get the error. I have tried shutting off my pc and restarting it. I have restarted the app and I still get this error. Sharon
