Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me out...

I would like to use the GetSetting function to check if a value exists in the registry.

How do I do this? I have looked at the help file, and that has just confused me more!!!

Once I do get it, how do I go about putting the value it digs up into a text box, or message box, or whatever, and how do I check if it is true or not?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Thank you for your reply.

I have just given it a quick skim-read and it has totally baffled me - LOL!

I will give it a proper read, and come back moaning if I still don't understand it!!!
It has lots of examples, so I should be fine!

Thanks very much again :)

Just follow the example step by step and you'll understand soon. There are lots of code involved. Just copy and paste in Access. Feel free to discuss more.

Ok - after some fiddling I got it working, managed to create myself a registry file or three, and read from them, and others, and set values etc.....wasn't nearly as hard as I thought!

Now I am onto my typical stage of making it harder for myself!

I would really like to call multiple values from the registry at once. How possible do we think this is? How might I go about it?

This isn't essential, but it would be kinda cool if I could get it working! :)

Thanks in advance! :D
