Rich text field and numbering list..... (1 Viewer)

hi again :)

i have a table field which is long text

and a form where i set the same field format property as rich text

when i enter data the bulleted list works well But the numbering list NO.....

I USE OFFICE 2013 AND ENTER DATA IN ARABIC LANGUAGE......

BTW:
IT works if i enter data in English language

you need to have an Arabic office. reading order in Arabic is right to left, vice versa for English.

unable to test but take a look a your control Reading Order property on the format tab - try changing to right to left

I have that and the default direction for the DB is right to left
BTW

Bullets works in right to left and left to right too

Just Numbering works in left to right only

it was the reading order of the Subject control I was referring to - it is still set to context in your file.

unable to properly test here because of default window settings but with these settings

File>Options>Client Settings>Editing>Default direction - Right to left
Form>Control>Properties>Format>Text Align - Right
Form>Control>Properties>Format>Reading Order -Right to left

this is what I get



however you say it works with the English language so it doesn't necessarily prove anything - I was just suggesting you may not have applied all the settings, you only mention the database setting

HI

I am confused :confused: :banghead:

the default direction is ..............................right to left
the form orientation is ...............................right to left
the text align is......................................... right
the reading order of the required rich fields are......right to left

but i still have a numbering problem.....
